Social Emotional Learning through the Resilient Scholars Program

The Resilient Scholars Program was developed by the Urban Assembly schools under the leadership of David Adams (pictured above left). This Social Emotional Learning program provides modules of social emotional content designed to increase our students' ability to regulate their emotions through a curriculum entitled School Connect. The program also allows educators to track progress with a social emotional checklist (the DESSA). We are proud to be piloting this program at the middle school level and we hope to see an increase in pro-social behaviors.
