Overview
P369K, also known as The Coy L. Cox School, is a K-12 school for students with special needs. The preponderance of our student population consists of students with Autism and students with Emotional Disturbances. Our friendly and dedicated team of Special Educators provide both Standardized Instruction (for students who take state tests) and Alternate Instruction (for students who do not take state tests). We emphasize behavior modification as we believe that increasing appropriate social and academic behaviors will lead to increased access to general education environments. To that end, we maintain four inclusion partnerships with various schools in Brooklyn. Inclusion classes allow students that are ready to participate in General Education with their peers.

Friday, March 27th- Last day to sign up for D75 Enrichment Afterschool for Summer Wednesday, April 1st- Last day for School Survey April 2nd- 10th- SPRING BREAK- SCHOOL CLOSED Thursday, April 16th- PA Meeting on Zoom at 6pm. Spanish & Mandarin interpretation provided. Monday, April 20th- Kids Rise: Save for College Workshop on Zoom at 10 am. For k-4th grade families. Spanish, Mandarin, & Russian interpretation provided. Saturday, April 25th- Transition Fair at AIL (283 State Street) at 10am. 7th grade and up families invited form all sites. |
